7. Data Retention Periods
Justification for Candidate Data Retention at Daedalus Aviation Group
At Daedalus, we highly value the protection of personal data and act in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Candidates who register with us give consent for the processing of their data for the purpose of matching them with suitable projects and assignments.
Why a retention period of two years?
The nature of our services differs from regular staffing or recruitment agencies. Our projects often have longer lead times, making it necessary to maintain contact with candidates over an extended period. A two-year retention period gives us sufficient time to approach candidates for open projects and create sustainable matches.
GDPR compliance and transparency
- We only process data that is necessary for placement and keep this information up to date.
- After two years, the candidate automatically receives an email with a link where we kindly ask them to renew their registration.
If the candidate does not renew, their data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy. - Candidates always have the right to correct or delete their data at any time.
- Candidates may request removal at any time by emailing recruitment@daedalus.nl, after which all information will be deleted without delay.
Through this approach, we safeguard both the interests of our candidates and compliance with GDPR.
8. User Rights Under GDPR
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of your data.
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request the deletion of your data.
- Restriction: Limit the processing of your data.
- Portability: Request the transfer of your data to another party.
